Lip Fillers
Lip fillers are used for lip augmentation and lip enhancement, adding volume and definition to the lips to restore or augment the natural appearance.
Treatment is ideal for correcting thin, ageing lips, balancing asymmetries between the top and bottom lips, or for creating a more voluptuous pout and sexier lip appearance in younger patients. Lip fillers are also a popular anti-ageing solution for men with thin or flat lips. The goal is always to restore a natural shape and size to the lips, enhancing rather than distorting or creating unnaturally large or misshapen lips.
To achieve this, our medical practitioners not only add targeted amounts of volume to the lip body but will also add definition to the vermillion border, the defined line around the edge of the lips where normal skin meets the pinker skin of the lips, and will sharpen the Cupid's bow area, the V-shaped region below the centre of the nose.
We can also treat peri-oral lines, around the mouth, to address ageing concerns. This may include fine lines or so-called 'smoker's lines' above the top lip, or oral commissures, the small lines or depressions at the corner of the mouth that may eventually deepen into marionette (mouth-to-chin) lines over time.
