Sensitive areas around the edges of the eyes, lips, and nose will be protected with a layer of petroleum jelly (Vaseline). The TCA peel solution is applied to your face, starting from your forehead and working down your cheeks, chin, and then nose in one, two or three layers, depending on the intensity and depth of the recommended treatment. The next step is to relax under LED light therapy, if recommended. To complete the treatment session, a recovery cream and SPF 50 sun protection product are applied to promote healing and protect the skin.
Course of Treatment
Single treatment or a course of 3–6 treatments, depending on skin concern and severity, at 2- to 4-week intervals.
